Carolina Street Scene
What started as a birthday bash for the Winston-Salem Arts Council in 1974 evolved into an epic festival of art and music that ran for 20 years. The Carolina Street Scene was a can't-miss event that packed the streets of downtown Winston and featured a diverse range of live performers (including Jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie), local artists, and vendors galore.
Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County is the oldest locally-established arts council in the US, and we're excited to honor their 75th Anniversary with a salute to the amazing festival they organized and operated for so many years.
As part of this collaboration, a percentage of every sale will be donated to Arts Council in support of their continuing mission to elevate artistry and creative culture within our community.
